Questionnaires simplified

Questionnaires simplified

(Posted on 18/09/19)

AXSMarine, a pioneer and market leader in the provision of advanced solutions for shipping professionals, has revealed AXSQ – a secure and transparent web-based vessel description, questionnaire, certificate and document management system, which will replace the cumbersome email process of document management between multiple shipping stakeholders.

This latest addition to the company’s extensive portfolio significantly streamlines the communication between owners, managers, brokers, charterers, captains and port agents. AXSQ provides users with multiple customizable questionnaire formats, automated data entry, management and protection through public and private modes within a single source application.

AXSQ allows a user to automatically populate industry standard questionnaire formats with a couple of clicks required for fixing their vessels. A virtually unlimited library of formats available to the user minimizes the need for manual data entry, with each filled-in questionnaire facilitating the faster and automated creation of the next one.

AXSQ stores a full history on each vessel, available for transparency, traceability and compliance to make the audit process easier. The administration layers within the application enable users to keep control of their data through the assignment of different roles and rights. People can be given access only to the features they need, allowing for the restriction of sensitive data on a "need to know" basis.

“The cumbersome nature of questionnaire filling and sharing practices was pointed as one of the most frustrating problems in modern-day shipping by a majority of our customers”, said Jacques Goudchaux, CEO of AXSMarine. “We, at AXSMarine, have always listened to their input and endeavored on providing them with the right solution through our new product AXSQ.

AXSQ is a smart system, guaranteeing a modern, structured and optimized database organization, which allows the coordination of identical value fields, as well as the detection and correlation of questions styled differently across multiple questionnaire formats.  The advanced technical description searches and PDF exports embedded in our system will enable our clients to keep a user-friendly format of their online questionnaires.

With its file management functionalities, as well as options for both offline data flow and email utilization, AXSQ is a powerful tool capable of performing multi-role tasks in a variety of shipping organizations worldwide.”
