TBA Group has announced that Ridley Terminals Inc. (RTI) has selected CommTrac Terminal Management Software (TMS) for their multi-commodity bulk and liquified gas export facility located in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
Ridley Terminals, a world-class, 24/7 facility, is Canada’s northern trade gateway to the Asia Pacific. RTI has an annual throughput capacity of approx. 18.5 million tonnes, handling product from across western Canada.

CommTrac will replace Ridley Terminals Inc.'s current legacy system and become the operational software for all terminal activities. The powerful integration capabilities of CommTrac will provide seamless connectivity to Ridley’s rail operator CN, vessel systems including vetting and tidal information, fixed equipment and finance systems to provide real-time data to operations and senior management on demand.

This latest contract sees Ridley Terminals Inc. become the first bulk operation in North America to chose CommTrac to manage their terminal operations. It also further cements TBA Groups’ footprint in the bulk sector and increases CommTrac’s installation base to over 35 bulk, general cargo and multipurpose terminals across the globe.
