Fujairah Terminals, a subsidiary of AD Ports Group, an enabler of integrated trade, transport, and logistics solutions, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Fujairah Free Zone Authority (FFZA).
This collaboration could further bolster Fujairah’s position as a key hub in the global maritime industry. By leveraging the unique strengths of both Fujairah Terminals and the FFZA, the MoU aims to attract further investment, streamline operations, and promote sustainable growth within Fujairah’s maritime ecosystem.
Furthermore, the MoU aims to explore collaboration that would encompass the exchange of statistical data, business forecasts, and other information regarding container movement by road and sea, as well as joint participation in events and roadshows.

The MoU sets the ground for Fujairah Terminals and Fujairah Free Zone Authority to create a seamless and efficient environment that caters to the evolving needs of global shipping lines, logistics providers, and maritime service companies.
Fujairah Terminals is a strategic maritime hub on the UAE’s eastern coast, serving as a premier gateway for trade with the Indian Subcontinent, African trade lanes, and global markets. Established in 2017, it features a multi-purpose area for general cargo and Ro-Ro services, with a quay wall extended to 1000 metres and a depth of 15 metres to handle larger vessels.
