The China-US Quality Summit of 2018 has been held in Seattle. Huang Qingfeng, President and Deputy Secretary of ZPMC, attended the Conference and made a speech entitled “Improve smart manufacturing capacity of port machinery to meet development requirements of the Internet of Things”.
ZPMC is a Shanghai based equipment manufacturing company. Main products includes large-scale bulk cargo and container handing cranes and equipment.
The summit was held to strengthen the communication and exchange of enterprisers between China and USA and to meet new challenges arising out of the digital era. Present at the Summit were representatives of China enterprises, including ZPMC, Haier, Weichai Power, Shentong Metro, Xiamen Airlines, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute, China Zhongtie Major Bridge Engineering Group and Dunhuang Academy as well as businesses and academics from the USA, sharing experience and exchanging opinions.
Huang Qingfeng highlighted the quality manufacturing systems of ZPMC, as well as professional team cultivation, emphasizing ZPMC’s restructuring to intelligent manufacturing, self-developed 4th generation automatic terminal loading and unloading systems with safe, environmently friendly, intelligent and efficient features. With the development of the Internet of Things, ZPMC will create more intelligent products on the basis of the capital and informatisation of people-oriented, resource-saving, ecological, modern logistics and digital development.
3,000 professionals from more than 50 countries and regions were at the summit to discuss quality management and innovation.
