Emek Ersin Takmaz, is a Naval Architect and Project Manager with strong global experience in marine industry. Previously he worked with a German ship owner for five years and was responsible for heavy lift and project cargo operations across the renewables, infrastructure and oil and gas sectors. In addition, he spent two years with an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation company in the Middle East, where he worked on medium-large scale marine transportation and offshore installation projects.

Chief Executive Officer of LOC Group, Dr R.V. Ahilan commented:

“The opening of our German office marks an exciting and important strategic step for the Group, as we look to expand our Shipping and Renewables offering in Europe. I am also very pleased to have such experienced professionals as Emek and Christoph leading the team in Germany. Given our international offering and devotion to client service I believe LOC is well placed to take advantage of strong market demand for our services offering over the coming years.”

Emek Ersin Takmaz of LOC Germany, commented:

“I am very pleased to have joined LOC and to be leading the Group’s push into Europe. We are building a very strong team in Germany, all of whom have considerable experience and knowledge in the Renewables and Shipping markets to provide the best support for our clients in the region.”

Christoph Ruck of LOC Germany, commented:

“Given the strong track record of the team, we feel well placed to capitalise on Shipping and Renewables opportunities in the German and European markets. Our ambition is to continue to grow the Hamburg offering and further strengthen LOC’s global position as the premier marine and engineering consulting firm.”
