Cleveland Cascades have commissioned a 1350 size ship loading chute, loading Coal and Coke, located in Colombia.
The chute is supplied with a pivoting head chute, has an extended length of 17 meters and a retracted height of 5.5 meters. The Galvanised Steel Chute is ceramic lined and is designed to handle loading rates between 600 and 1200 tonnes per hour. The Chute is mounted on a travelling and Luffing ship loader system.
This chute was supplied with a 6mm ceramic lined Trimmer with a 1.5 meter outreach that can be attached to the base of the chute for loading within all areas of a vessel’s hatch.
Cleveland Cascades is a specialist in the design and manufacture of bespoke dry bulk loading chutes. Based in the North East of England, we have built a population of over 650 systems, working in bulk handling facilities worldwide.
We are best known for our Cascade controlled flow technology chute, which uses a series of inclined cones, inside a retractable cover, to control dust pollution at source, while at the same time minimising both material degradation and segregation. This technology has established the company as a leading global force in ship and silo loading chutes.
