AXSMarine increases Nextvoyage investment

(Posted on 25/06/25)

AXSMarine, a pioneer and market leader in the provision of advanced solutions for maritime professionals, has increased its investment into Nextvoyage, a Voyage Management System (VMS) provider.

Founded in 2000, AXSMarine is a global provider of online software solutions and commodity tracking data to the international shipping & commodity industry.

This move follows AXSMarine’s initial investment in Nextvoyage two years ago. The data integration implemented last year allows all clients to take advantage of AXSMarine’s ship database, built upon decades of experts’ collection.

Nextvoyage continues to work independently on the provision of high-performance maritime tech solutions tailored to the permanently growing needs of shipowners and ship chartering professionals.

“We're very satisfied with our investment in Nextvoyage, and the results our joint efforts have provided for the global maritime community over the past couple of years. This further backing of a modern and efficient VMS is a very natural and logical next step of our journey." said Jacques Goudchaux, AXSMarine CEO.

Nextvoyage’s voyage management platform has tailored down the details to ensure quick implementation, and seamless end-to-end workflow management while retaining meaningful data capture and reporting capabilities. This perfectly aligns with our overall strategic goals of streamlining business development and decision-making processes for the industry,” added Jacques.

"At Nextvoyage, we're very happy with AXSMarine’s involvement towards our aligned goals of building a well-integrated modern software solution. We maintain operating independence, partnering and

integrating with other solution providers to satisfy our clients’ overall requirements.” said Mark Pith, founder and CEO of Nextvoyage.

Trusted by more than 18,000 users worldwide, AXSMarine’s software solutions deliver remarkable efficiency to commercial chartering processes for Dry, Tanker, Gas and Container vessels. These products provide a suite of modules and APIs, allowing shipping & commodity executives to fully analyse trading, commercial and operational activities as well as financial institutions building successful systematic and discretionary trading strategies.

Founded in 2020, Nextvoyage Maritime Software Pte. Ltd. (“Nextvoyage”) empowers maritime shippers to optimise their businesses with a complete end-to-end modern freight management platform. Nextvoyage offers a modern, cloud-based Software as a Service (“SaaS”) solution for ship owners and operators, as well as commodity traders and producers. Nextvoyage has a presence in Singapore and Portugal.
