CREMER ERZKONTOR GmbH has announced the official opening of its joint venture, CREMER (Yingkou) Supply Chain Co., at Bayuquan Port in China. With this new venture, the company is further expanding its international presence and strengthening its position as an independent service provider for raw material logistics and quality assurance.
Strategically positioned in the Bayuquan port area, the new joint venture is conveniently located near key industrial centres. Occupying around 7,700 square metres, the facility provides a full range of services throughout the supply chain, including storage, handling, sampling, analysis, documentation, and loading supervision.
Special emphasis is given to maintaining a customer-neutral service approach. By operating independently from the trading sector, the joint venture ensures the utmost transparency and objectivity in all its services.
The up-to-date infrastructure comprises sheltered storage sections right inside the port area, efficient premises, streamlined systems for loading and unloading, as well as a fully equipped laboratory. X-ray fluorescence (XRF) along with conventional wet chemical techniques are employed there to guarantee precise and reliable analyses.
"With the new location, we are creating a high-performance platform for integrated supply chain solutions in the raw materials sector," says Michael Fanger, Head of Corporate Minerals at CREMER ERZKONTOR. "Our customers benefit from faster processes, independent quality control and a direct connection to international transport routes."
With over 100 years of experience in the global raw materials business, CREMER ERZKONTOR brings comprehensive expertise to the joint venture, thereby demonstrating its dedication to providing secure, transparent, and efficient supply chain solutions.
Originally founded in 1915 as the Possehl Erzkontor Group, CREMER ERZKONTOR - as it is known today - has been part of the Peter Cremer holding company since 2014. With offices on five continents, CREMER ERZKONTOR coordinates international trade, processing, recycling and logistics in the field of raw materials and chemicals, with a sales focus on all European countries, North and South America, Africa and Asia. The company is headquartered in Lübeck, Germany.
