International Bulk Journal is proud to present the IBJ Awards 2011. Following spectacular evenings in Amsterdam and London, it is now the turn of the great port city of Antwerp, Belgium to play host to the Maritime Bulk Industry’s "Night of the Year".

It is impossible to put a value on being shortlisted, or winning at The IBJ Awards in terms of prestige, increased profile to the bulk industry and staff morale. Dedicated exclusively to the maritime dry bulk industry, they will recognise achievements by individuals and companies improving and enhancing efficiency, safety and environment protection in this vital global market.

The awards event, to be held at Antwerp’s Hilton Hotel, provides a unique networking opportunity for the industry at a glittering gala occasion. The impartial judging panel of distinguished individuals from a cross-section of bulk business areas will be announced on www.ibj-online.com and published in IBJ later this year. Working in separate panels to ensure complete impartiality, judges are chosen to recognise what is truly outstanding and deserves recognition.

The IBJ Awards 2011 were held at the Hilton Antwerp on Monday 14th November. Details of Next year’s event, to be held in Hamburg, Germany, will be revealed soon.
